Knocked out the kid (seems killing kids aint a thing in this game). No oath broken (was Ancients at the time). Talk tough to the Teiflings holding Laz'el captive and immediately go back to camp when you can and you will have broken your oath apparently even if you defended yourself lol. 2M subscribers in the BaldursGate3 ... Killing the goblins will not break your oath. For what it's worth, though, at least prior to patch 6, there was a bug that would cause your oath to be broken when you killed Balthazaar as a Paladin with Oath of the Ancients, which makes no sense due to him being a necromancer, and thus defying the laws of nature. .Ghost Dec 15, 2022 @ 9:28am. The game is still early access, of course not everything that will be in the game is in the game ...I played an entire play through as dark urge vengeance, never broke my oath despite actively trying in act 3 lol- But im playing an evil vengeance paladin durge atm and ive broken it pretty quickly, so really it depends on your route.
